Provide lead accounting and bookkeeping services for Orthman Energy, Orthman Farms and the Orthman Investments new building project.

Description
The Senior Accountant will prepare and post journal entries, assist in the monthly close process for all international subsidiaries, including consolidations, analyzing and reviewing their financial information and reconciling intercompany activity. This position will also assist in the preparation of reconciliations and of the PBCs for our external accounting firm on a quarterly and annual basis. The Senior Accountant should have a strong technical background to assist with identification, research and implementation of significant accounting and reporting issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coordinate and review international subsidiaries’ financial statements and reporting packages on a monthly basis.
• Record journal entries for the inter company and other related transaction.
• Preparation of consolidation and CTA Roll forward.
• Assist with quarterly review and annual audit process, including preparation of PBCs.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley policies.

Knowledge/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (equivalent).

To work within a secure Data Centre providing services to clients utilising a variety of technologies including MVS, Fujitsu, HP, Tandem and other environments.

Working Pattern:
Full time / permanent / 12 hour shifts / 24x7x365

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitoring Tandem, Fujitsu, IBM Mainframe, UNIX, Wintel systems as per schedules and task lists
• Addressing job failures using recovery documentation and by invoking callout to both internal and client support teams in consultation with the Shift Leader
• Run client workloads to schedule, completing checklists to confirm progress
• Incident management of high priority calls
• Reacting to alerts raised by Unicenter
• Ensuring deadlines for SLAs are met
• Utilisation of the internal change and problem management systems
• Fully understand all Operational documentation
• Act as liaison point for all clients Out of Hours
• Complete and distribute status reports for workloads assigned
• Input and monitor client batch schedules including on-line processes and/or automation tools
• Under guidance Load or IPL on-line services as requested by schedules or support teams

Specific candidate will serve as a member of the Naval ystems Computer Center/Computer Programs Test Site (NSCC/CPTS) Program Generation Center (PGC) team at the LM/MS2 Moorestown, NJ facility working in a rotating shift 24x7 environment. Tasks and daily responsibilites will center on the transfer of system and user files (manually and electronically) using various types of physical media and programs (e.g. File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Tape Archive (TAR) across the classified and unclassified VAX and UNIX based networks. Candidate will perform customer and system file archival backups and report problems to system engineers and PGC management for resolution.
