Job Description:

-Enter and verify client orders for Strategic Clients distribution accounts.
-Acting as full Client Point of Contact for assigned account load. Communicate with Sales and Operations as needed to resolve internal and external client issues.
Client advertising order maintenance
Production coordination, including researching of copy issues & shortages, preparing change notices, etc.
Notify Sales of print copy shortages, profile changes, etc.
Client account or profile maintenance 
-Assist Sales in the execution of client programs as defined by the standard
-Client Service Level Agreements.
Creation/maintenance of permanent profiles
Coordination Private Carrier Distribution programs
Client marketing analysis
Client facing meetings and weekly calls 
Required Skills

IT Service Specialist

IT Service Specialist

Head Office East Kilbride
(12 month maternity cover)

Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, the IT Service Specialist will be the first point of contact for all IT issues. They will log and manage the lifecycle of Incidents and Service Requests whilst ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive updates and escalation where a first time fix is not possible. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Answer incoming calls from internal customers and external suppliers 
  • Record, update and proactively manage Incidents and Service Requests received via phone, voice mail, email and desk side visit
  • Provide initial assessment of Incidents and Service requests setting appropriate categorisation and prioritisation
  • Provide initial support of incidents, ensuring appropriate analysis takes place and all required information is captured and accurately recoded
  • Proactively monitor, progress and resolve incidents in line with departmental SLAs
  • Escalate in a timely manner incidents where a first time fix is not possible
  • Create, update and Manage Service Requests in line with internal SLAs
  • Update and manage IT Deployed Assets
  • Ensure internal policies are adhered to whilst dealing with incidents and SLAs
  • Work with external suppliers to organise hardware deployments and hardware replacements
  • Create and maintain user accounts
  • Install packaged software
  • Provide basic support for desktop/laptop computer systems, printers, phones, mobile devices, and other hardware
  • Issue informative communication messages to the business relating to RFCs and other planned and unplanned maintenance in line with the weekly scheduled CAB meetings
  • Create, maintain and organise SSG documentation to help build the support knowledge base
  • Drive and manage support solutions back into the user community
  • Provide key operational system verification, support and escalation.


Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills balanced with effective communication and excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent knowledge of IT Service Management processes and procedures, specifically Incident, Problem, Change and Service Level Management
  • ITIL Foundation Level certification
  • Educated to degree level (preferably IT-related) or equivalent experience


Work Requirements: 
Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week; A single member of the team will also provide cover on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm on a rotational basis.

Job Description
Provides engineering and engineering support, research, evaluation and development for highly complex and technical space-based electrical/electro-optical aerospace products. Uses the application of engineering standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Designs, develops, tests and verifies complex engineering tasks in electrical development. Work may encompass a wide range of sophisticated (cross-discipline) engineering problem resolutions. The role can involve design and development engineering assignments related to products and systems including the engineering of new products or updates to existing products. It also involves interfacing with pertinent subject matter experts in order to support the generation of specification and interface control documentation for electronic systems and assemblies.


Required Experience: - Bachelors or ME/MS degree in Engineering with 2-6 years professional experience
- Must have knowledge and demonstrated competent understanding of engineering standards, design process, and principles and theories to complete engineering tasks associated with Electrical or Electro-Optical products
- Ability to function in a multi-disciplined team environment
- Working knowledge on Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is expected

Desired Skills:
  • Ability to analyze specification from an EMI point of view and give design recommendations and comments to senior engineer or program management
  • Ability to perform analysis, design, integration, and testing of hardware from an EMI perspective
  • Ability to review and analyze EMI test data
  • Ability to show compliance of electrical designs to requirements and development process standards
  • Ability to analyze and prototype electrical circuit designs to prove feasibility of approach.
  • Knowledge of or recent coursework in FPGA/VHDL design/architecture

Senior Hardware Design Engineer / Team Lead with strong analogue design skills is required by our Oxfordshire based client to work as part of a team developing high speed digital and analogue electronics systems through the full product development cycle. As a senior design role, first class communication, organization skills are required. Proven experience in leading a team of design engineers is also strongly desirable.

The Senior Hardware Design Engineer / Hardware Team Leader will:

Manage a team of Hardware and firmware engineers developing high speed digital and analogue electronics systems.
Manage the full product development cycle; contribute to and lead technically demanding projects; and integrate effectively with a talented multi-disciplinary team of like-minded people.
Develop designs from initial concept to completed functioning prototype so that product ideas are developed as quickly as possible into designs that can be manufactured, tested and maintained.
Design circuits and draw schematics so that accurate circuit information is available to the PCB designers.
Work with the PCB design team to ensure that the PCB design will perform as specified
Work with the FPGA design team to complete the design.
Undertake testing and debugging of the design, ensuring that the design meets the design specification 
Provide all necessary information so to originate accurate and complete manufacturing information.
Where appropriate provide support to the Service and Production departments to resolve design and other component issues. 
Where appropriate, aid with system design and identify problems with both hardware and software, at the system level.

To be considered for this Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will have:

Good honours degree in electronic engineering or a related subject.
Experience analogue designer. 
Significant recent professional experience in hardware related projects.
Recent experience designing and debugging high speed digital circuit boards with current generation CPUs and FPGAs
Experience in board level design and developing significant hardware components. 
Experience of working with high speed serial signals (GHz ) (e.g. Serdes GIG-E)
Familiarity with software and hardware tools and off-the-shelf packages that can be utilized for system development.
Able to work with various kinds of hardware and to assist with software integration. 
The ability to quickly translate user requirements or technical propositions into practical designs.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget.

Desirable skills include experience with SHARC DSPs, experience of analogue audio design, experience of power supply design, familiarity with signal integrity issues and simulation, experience of design for EMC compliance and familiarity with Altera and/or Xilinx devices and tools.
