As a Senior Mobile Software Program Manager you will be managing, tracking and drive products and projects for HP's Mobility portfolio.  Requires a broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, process and lifecycles, as well as creative problem solving skills.

Responsibilities
Develop plans, schedules, processes, and resource profiles for design and development of complex products, platforms, systems, software, and technologies across multiple engineering disciplines, platforms and organizations within the Mobility Global Business Unit.
Identifies and evaluates issues in projects and with development teams and technology partners. Prioritize issues and escalate with effectiveness.
Setup reviews and evaluations of designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; integrates suggestions, updates, and innovations into overall architecture.
Leverages recognized expertise, engineering acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of engineering design innovation and excellence.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 6-10 years experience
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to build the relationships to manage and influence partners
Strong attention to details
Experience in developing mobile platforms with the Android Operating system
In depth knowledge of mobile device product lifecycle
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to effectively influence management and individual contributors across different functions and regions
Strong collaboration skills, including consensus-building and conflict resolution skills
Familiar with and comfortable in an Agile development environment
Mandarin language skills desirable
