WELDER

Required Skills:

Candidates will posses 3-10 years of welding experience in the following

Stainless tube (1/4" - 2") installation.
Stainless and carbon steel threaded pipe (1/2" - 6").
Stainless and carbon steel welded pipe per ASME B31.3.
Pipe support and process skid installation.
GTAW Certified preferred
We require construction trades to be willing and able to support multiple construction trade activities due to the relatively small size of our construction projects (< $15 million). You must be willing to travel to job sites in California and outside state during construction phases. This will include overnight travel. Also must be willing to support shop fabrication activities in the Escondido shop as needed. These are temp to hire  positions!



You must be able to satisfy pre-employment and random drug screening tests.

Must be a qualified welder / fabricator with experience in steel or aluminium (NDT experience preferred but interest to train if not available) and ideally have a driving licence. Duties include MIG/TIG and MMA welding / fabricating. All welding / fabricating processes will be subject to high standard testing such as x ray, fault detection and pressure test in a non destructive testing environment. Each day will provide new challenges and a different aspect of work, this is not a production line role. This position also offers an immediate start. Overtime may be available at weekends and evenings. You may be required to travel off site at our customers’ depots (vehicle provided). This is not an agency position. Essential Functions – The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification.  Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • This person shall have a minimum of a welding or machinist certification or two years experience working as a full time welder, machinist or fabricator.
  • This person shall be proficient with MIG welding of aluminum and steel.  Also prefer proficiency with TIG, and stick welding of all types of metals.
  • Able to complete class/certification to operate machine shop equipment to include milling, cutting, drilling and bending/forming machines.
  • Required to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain active list of project timelines and prioritize job tasks.
  • Inspect parts to assure conformance to specification.
  • Remain technically current.
  • Analyze technical data.
  • Perform special projects.
