POSITION SUMMARY


The IT Support Specialist will assist customers and internal technical personnel with IT-related service issues and most particularly issues related to PLM and Team solutions received by the North American Call Center.  This position serves as first point of contact dealing directly with the customers to trouble-shoot and resolve issues, assist with installations, and identify and communicate business opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Deliver the highest level of response to our customers service requests by phone and internet, respecting the customer contract;
  • Trouble-shoot / isolate problems between OS and Lectra proprietary software or peripherals, PLM and Team solutions;
  • Ability to resolve problems remotely and determine critical cases to escalate to Tier2;
  • Follow service request until the final resolution;
  • Ability to multi-task, identify, and communicate business opportunities;
  • Assist with installation of Lectra software solutions;
  • Log all service calls and daily activities into the service monitoring software (Oracle EBS);
  • Candidate will possess a positive attitude and be willing to be part of a team.



EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:



  • 5-year degree in Computer Engineering/Services or related field experience.  2-year accepted if significant professional experience;
  • MCSE or MCP certification a plus.



Minimum 2 years experience in:



  • Relational databases : Oracle, SQL Server
  • Application servers: JEE
  • Web mail servers
  • Programming : SQL, ETL, XML, scripts
  • Operating systems : Windows, Unix, Mac
  • Network, domains
  • Virtual machines, Terminal Server, Citrix
  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Electronic and electrical applications and trouble-shooting
  • Software and hardware (CAM/CAD i.e. plotter, cutter) a major plus
  • Knowledge of customers’ processes a plus: Style, Pattern Design, Textile design,…
  • Computer Aided Manufacturing and/or Robotics software and hardware advantageous
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish; fluency in French a plus



POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills (English and Spanish, French a plus) and strong technical and trouble-shooting skills.  Must have thorough knowledge of collaborative solutions support. The position requires good PC hardware, software and peripherals knowledge, and to be familiar with network and internet technologies.


  • Technical support experience in multi-tier applications;
  • Good Oracle Database knowledge;
  • Excellent computer skills and OS knowledge;
  • Experience with Windows OS (Windows XP and Windows 7);
  • Experience with Mac OS and Unix OS (Linux, AIX);
  • Knowledge of  IP Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Internet);
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish (French a plus);
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (Business Objects) a plus;
  • Very strong customer service skills.

Job Description:


This position provides accounting IT services support our of our Shared Service Center in Lancaster, PA.  Under the Supervision of a Financial Systems Manager, the principal duties are:




  • The development and programing of reports for accounting and operational reporting using Oracle  ERP R12 databases and tables.
  • Support of implementation initiatives included in the  Roll-out of the solution to newly acquired companies
  • Coordinate technical enhancements and issues with the global IT  department 
  • Design  Re-Engineer ,testing  and delivery of financial  Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and
  • Workflow(RICEFW)  objects in Oracle eBusiness Suite during periodic upgrades of  Oracle software.
  • Respond to system issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
  • Design and Development of Financial Reporting solutions
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • At least ten years experience in a IT systems  development and reporting

  • Extensive experience in deployment and/or support of Oracle eBusiness Suite and EPM/BI Solutions

  • Expert knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and SQLDEVLOPOR or TOAD,  XML/BI Publisher, OA Framework and Workflow

  • Database design ,relational  OLTP and OLAP .

  • Technical knowledge of implementing BI solutions  and making changes to standard BI  ETL components

  • Respond to system issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams

  • Extensive trouble shooting and communication skills

  • SQL Server development a plus

Working for one of the UK’s most recognised names you will perform a mixture of infrastructure support and infrastructure development activities. This includes but is not limited to proactive monitoring, second line fault diagnosis and resolution, disaster recovery, problem resolution, upgrades to existing Windows based servers and systems, implementing and checking backups, anti-virus deployment and monitoring, auditing of environment and computer rooms and maintaining environmental records. Ensuring solutions are implemented in harmony with the existing environment and minimising disruption to the user community is essential.

Development activities include delivery of server platforms and solutions to underpin operational, automation and reporting services. Core Skills Required:


  • Proven skills working in a large multi-site corporate environment using Microsoft and Intel server and application technologies.
  • Proven knowledge and use of the following technologies: - VMware vSphere v4, Windows 2003/2008 Server, Microsoft clustering technologies, Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft Active Directory, SAN Technologies, Microsoft Systems Centre Operations Manager (MS SCOM), Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, vbScripting, TCP/IP, Microsoft SQL Server. 
  • Plan and lead technical projects.
  • Design, specify and implement projects from conception to implementation.
  • Ability to plan and conduct technical testing on systems to be delivered.


The successful candidate will have specialisation in at least one or more of the following areas:-


  • Using Citrix technologies to deliver a large and critical centralised desktop environment.
  • SAN knowledge (IBM XIV beneficial but not essential) to manage, deliver and underpin file systems, MS SQL Clusters, VMware clusters, archival, tiered or unified storage using Brocade fibre-channel or iSCSI fabrics.
  • VMware vSphere server virtualisation and management in a multi-server clustered environment.


You will be confident in owning & taking a technical lead to determine the creation & delivery of technical solutions and play an active role in deciding systems policies, with the ability to lead in the delivery of large and critical platform solutions to schedule & budget.

Industry recognised qualifications such as MCP, MCSE advantageous.

You will be required to take part in a weekly callout rota and the Technical Services Team operates a shift pattern covering the hours 07:00am – 6:00pm.

Position Summary:
The System Analyst is responsible for defining, developing, configuring, securing  and supporting Chamilia’s global business systems portfolio of applications. This is a hands-on role with a broad range of implementation, configuration and support duties. This position will work closely with IT Business Analysts, management and external systems partners to design, configure, install, and support key components of the business applications portfolio.

Key Accountabilities:

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following education, work experience, and abilities:

Ø Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
Ø Experience and Knowledge - -The qualified candidate will be knowledgeable with one or more integrated business applications such as Web, ERP, PLM, CRM,SCM, e-commerce with 5+ years experience in at least 2 of the 4 areas listed below:
o    Client/server applications installation and technical support
o    Relational databases and related systems (SQL Server preferred)
o    eCommerce applications and interfaces
o    Web development programming languages
