Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring the purity of the water processed for MPW Industrial Water customers at various project sites.

Required Skills

  1. Travels to various project sites and maintains MPW Water Purification Equipment.
  2. Tracks the performance of the equipment at the various project sites.
  3. Performs the required labor at the various project sites, including hose and pipe assembly, chemical drum handling, chemical transfer, filter backwashes, filter media replacement, pump maintenance, membrane cleaning and replacement, etc.
  4. Uses and calibrates monitoring equipment to test water quality to assure established standards are being met.
  5. Completes PC-based reports on site conditions, test results, site corrections, site deficiencies, etc.  
  6. Trouble shoots system operational problems and makes corrections when appropriate.
  7. Provides ongoing interface with customers to assure they are satisfied with job.
  8. Follows all Safety rules and regulations.
  9. Maintains proper house keeping.



Required Experience


  • Ability to carry/lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves heavy manual labor.
  • Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces.
  • Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
  • Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.



QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver’s license.

College Degree preferred
2 years of mechanical experience preferred.
PLC experience preferred

We’re currently recruiting for Senior Commissioning and Start-up Engineer to join our team within Upstream International Operated (UIO) at the Bellanaboy Bridge Gas Terminal, County Mayo, the Republic of Ireland.

Upstream International operates, maintains and modifies producing and processing facilities in the Central and Northern North Sea, onshore in Scotland and in the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient start up of all subsea wells facilities, landfall valve installation, terminal process facilities and related safety systems and utilities to ensure production of hydrocarbons in accordance with production plans, targets and specifications.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Commissioning and Start-up Engineer will coordinate the pre-commissioning and operational testing activities for the Corrib Facilities, both onshore and offshore.

As a Senior Commissioning and Start-up Engineer you will be:
. Responsible for the incorporation of all subsea, pipelines and terminal activities into the integrated commissioning plan
. Manage Terminal commissioning team on daily deliverables
. Responsible for delivering commissioning objectives on time and within budget
. Responsible for pre-acceptance inspection of turnover systems from construction contractor
. Responsible for pre-commissioning and operational testing of all Terminal systems and offshore equipment
. Responsible for the mobilisation of specialist vendor personnel as required
. Responsible for implementation of flawless project delivery associated with Terminal commissioning
. Responsible for the preparation and approval of the initial start-up program, verification of readiness and statement of fitness

You will also:
. Liaise with Reservoir and Production Engineers, technical authorities and other relevant personnel from within the asset team
. Ensure personal safety and asset integrity standards are met at all times by the commissioning team and must set the right example for the contractors working on the sites.




Requirements:


Qualifications required: A degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred. A higher degree would be an advantage.

Experience required:
. Significant experience in the oil and gas industry
. An Engineering background with operational experience
. Previous project experience including subsea completions and control systems
. Detailed knowledge of a Completions Management System, preferably GoCCMS


In addition you will also have an in depth knowledge of:
. Safety and environmental leadership of contractors
. Hydrocarbon Gas Commissioning
. Completions management system
. Subsea systems operation and commissioning
. Planning

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: 
The Field Engineer I will be responsible for being the first point of contact for Sanjel customers and field personnel on job site and will provide technical support on location to ensure proper job execution.  A Field Engineer I will apply knowledge and skills obtained during training and will work with one specific service line.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews job program proposal from Technical Specialist to understand treatment specifications and prepare for job.
  • May assist Technical Specialists in writing job designs/proposals as needed.
  • Work closely with Operations in pre-job planning; confers with Technical Specialists, Operations, and Service Line Coordinators to develop and implement job operating procedures; ensure all materials and equipment needed to perform job will be on site.
  • Assist Service Line Coordinator in determining calculations for chemical additives and concentrations for treatments.
  • Present job design proposals, specifications, and procedures to customer on job site.
  • Foster and maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services by being a point of contact for questions regarding product, equipment and procedures.
  • Conduct pre and post job analyses (i.e. pre-job chemical, mud and water testing, breaker tests, tank strapping; post-job information review- pressure response charts, etc).
  • Assist field operations with rig-in/outs as needed.
  • Provide onsite technical support for customers and Sanjel field operations team; support supervisors on location throughout all phases of job with (help with volumes, flushes, pad extensions, lengthening stages, chemical loadings, etc).
  • Conduct quality control tests during job (i.e. fluid testing) to ensure proper delivery of service; make changes/corrections as required; utilize and apply sound engineering principles on the job.
  • Investigate and evaluate any job difficulties and/or failures to diagnose faulty operations.
  • Partner with Engineering Manager or District Engineer to recommend opportunities for improvement, and provide feedback to Technical Specialists on customer problems and needs.
  • Prepare post-job reports / summaries for Technical Specialists.
  • Verify job tickets before Field Operations submits them to the customer.
  • Follow up with customer after service to ensure all aspects of the job were completed to expectations.
  • All other duties assigned.

  • 4 year degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering field
  • 1 year field engineering experience and/or completion of Sanjel Field Engineer Training program
  • Strong communication skills- verbal and written
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, judgment and decision making skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work a 11 days on, 3 days off schedule and availability to be on-call 24/7; travel up to 100% of the time required.
  • Exceptional computer skills; must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications~
