To meet the strong growth of our business in France and to participate in a major application project for one of our banking clients, Cognizant is hiring a JAVA-J2EE Coordinator Engineer.

Responsibilities
Directly "on site" at the client location, you will work with a team of functional and technical experts, on a very large application maintenance project in an international environment.
Under the superivision of the Application Service Manager, you will handle level 3 support and application enhancements. You will maintain relationship with all the users involved. You may also be required to manage a part of the customer relationship.
In this context, you are responsible for:
-          Incident resolution: handle both common errors and new problems;
-          Problem-solving: identify problems, investigate the causes, identify potential sustainable solutions and create change requests;
-          Implement developments and create estimations with the team to justify them to the client;
-          Draft technical documents, that are the basis of our solution proposals, and manage the knowledge base, for ticket handling and resolution;
-           Participate in UAT phases,
-           Implement functional testing.

For this, you will work closely with both the client and Cognizant teams, onsite and offshore, for incident resolution.
  
Skills & Experience

You have at least 2 years of experience in a development or application support team.
You have excellent knowledge of the SQL language and the databases, as well as JAVA/J2EE programming languages. You are also familiar with the ticket management systems.

You are service-minded and have excellent communication and listening skills. Customer relationship is fundamental for you. In addition, you are fluent in English (technical / plain). Your technical and soft skills will make a difference.
Work experience in an international or offshore environment is an added advantage.

Higher education in computer science (Engineering schools or technical universities)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Design HSE Responsible, you are the privileged contact for all the other disciplines in the different project phases (conception, procurement, construction).
Within the framework of international projects, you are in charge of the feasibility and detail studies in the hygiene, security and environment area in the industry:
·       Participation to Security revues like HAZID, HAZOP,
·       Modelling of accident scenarios,
·       Elaboration security concept, environment and health (implementation rules, dangerous areas classification, passive/active fire protection, fire and gas detection, evacuation principles, definition of environment protecting rules and noise limitation, etc.),
·       Specification of security equipments and follow-up of suppliers’ orders.
Knowledge of the accident modelling (like PHAST) and conception tools (like Flaresim, IMMI, Fathom or Pipenet) would be an asset.

PROFILE:
Process Development Chemical engineer or from school specialized in industrial risks (Mines, INSA, ENSI, Polytech’ Grenoble, etc.), you have gained a first experience in Process engineering and/or industrial security in the Oil & Gas area.
You have a very good command in writing skills both in French and in English, together with a capacity for analysis and synthesis. Dynamic and proactive, you have an excellent relational and real capacity for teamwork. Travels in France and abroad can be expected.

The jobholder will support the growth of the Multibase business by leading the development of one of the 2 Silicone technological platforms, namely Silicone containing Masterbatches. His/her primary responsibility is to develop/ characterize materials & products, solve technical problems/limitations using scientific discipline with the aim of bringing new technologies and products platforms enabling Multibase to meet customers and market needs.

He/she will try to understand the chemical and physical behaviors of silicone molecules and polymers that are dispersed into plastic matrixes, fixing current limitations and exploring new frontiers to deliver enhanced mechanical and surface properties of plastics.

He/she will need to use the Dow Corning’s global network of technology experts and academia sources of expertise in order to leverage the relevant know-how, toolboxes and apply them to the Plastic Compounding Industry.

His/her key responsibilities include:

• Developing and driving the implementation of disruptive silicon-containing thermoplastic technologies, actively participating to CE development projects to support the business growth of the Multibase portfolio
• Developing and optimizing Silicone compounding processes and test methods by using statistical tools and DOE concepts. Scientifically establish correlations between process/structure/properties/function/applications
• Creating, evaluating and prototyping new concepts and technologies for customer validation and business development
• Generation of new ideas to answer unmet needs, define experimental plan and run feasibility study.
• Provide application training to Technical Service and Sales organization on newly launched technologies including compounding & testing expertise
• Managing Intellectual Property rights issues
• Publishing internally and externally the research outcomes and actively participating in key conferences
• Part of the responsibility includes customer technical support (AETS) for Thermoplastic Additive Segment. The candidate will be required to position at customers the benefits and advantages of our technical solutions and be able to solve quality/process issues.

The profile

The ideal candidate 
• has a PhD or an engineering degree in materials science or equivalent. 
• has minimum 5 years hands-on experience in plastic processing and rheology. 
• has a good understanding of applied polymer science such as reactive extrusion, filler treatment, polymer interface control, polymer modification… 
• a background in polymer morphology and tribology. 
• is creative, flexible and shows initiative

MISSIONS:


Based at Netsize in the Finance Department and Chief Accountant attached to France, your missions will involve various subsidiaries Netsize why you carry out various accounting work on the business side:

• Automatic integration and / or manual costs and revenues related to business in the ERP, including provisions made ​​monthly traffic and scaling of these elements with the accounting and justification of balance sheet accounts receivable;

PROFILE:

• BTS minimum Accounting 
• You have significant experience in general accounting (preferably English-speaking environment) if possible supplemented by a firm experience (minimum 2 years experience).  
• Your organization, your sense of priorities, your ability planning and your discipline, and a good relationship are assets to succeed in your missions. 
• You will be working with different services in France and abroad (ADV, accounting firms, Treasury, etc.). Good communication skills are essential. You also have the taste of teamwork.  
• Knowledge of a necessary (ERP Navision, SAP preferred). 
• Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, etc.). 
• Fluency in written and spoken English is indispensable.
