Inspector

Sandvik Materials Technology, a fully integrated manufacturer of specialty materials for high requirement applications has an opening for an Inspector based in Clarks Summit, PA.

The role

The Inspector is responsible for setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment as well as ensuring product quality. The surroundings range from simple to complex equipment.

Key performance areas

Complete quality inspection duties for the division

Participate in Quality Systems improvements for the division

Coordinate testing and inspection of products in process and finished

Review and interpret prints and customer requirements

Utilize time effectively to address quality management systems related to customer complaints, internal audits, and customer follow-up.

Ability to use micrometers and other measuring devices

Strong math skills and reasoning aptitude

Our Adorn Lamination Facility located in Elkhart, Indiana is currently hiring a Quality Floor Inspector to add to our Third Shift Team. Adorn produces laminated panels and wrapped stiles for the RV and manufactured housing industries.

Some quality experience is preferred, a High School degree or equivalent is also preferred. This is an entry level position with room for advancement.

Specific Responsibilities
The Quality Floor Inspectors will be working in a fast paced, team oriented environment and are responsible for inspecting parts as they come off the line.

Requirements
-          Candidates with previous experience in quality is preferred
-          Candidates must be able to stand on their feet throughout the duration of their shift.
-          The ability to read a tape measure and calipers
-          Must have good math skills
-          Follow written and verbal directions in English
