Our Adorn Lamination Facility located in Elkhart, Indiana is currently hiring a Quality Floor Inspector to add to our Third Shift Team. Adorn produces laminated panels and wrapped stiles for the RV and manufactured housing industries.

Some quality experience is preferred, a High School degree or equivalent is also preferred. This is an entry level position with room for advancement.

Specific Responsibilities
The Quality Floor Inspectors will be working in a fast paced, team oriented environment and are responsible for inspecting parts as they come off the line.

Requirements
-          Candidates with previous experience in quality is preferred
-          Candidates must be able to stand on their feet throughout the duration of their shift.
-          The ability to read a tape measure and calipers
-          Must have good math skills
-          Follow written and verbal directions in English

We are looking for someone who is ready to take on new challenges and work in a new global supplier quality organization within Sandvik Mining.

Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of machinery, cemented-carbide tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock excavation, crushing, loading and transport.

Duties

The role of Lead Supplier Quality Engineer with us means that you: 

conducts audits of new and existing suppliers.

together with various stakeholders approve new suppliers.

participates as supplier quality resource in different sourcing projects.

collaborating with R & D and production in matters of the material and supplier performance.

has a coordinating role in the management and development of supplier quality in the product.

implementing defined processes, tools, templates, checklists, and other support materials throughout Sourcing and Supplier Quality Organization for the product.

ensures that the technical documentation used towards suppliers is accurate and accessible.

manage document revisions and KPI reporting, including metrics for supplier quality level.

responsible for monitoring, feedback and reporting to the suppliers on performance.

The service comprises approximately 30% travel.

You are part of Sourcing Organization in Rock Tools and reports to the Head of the Rock Tools Sourcing. You also have a functional reporting line to Sandvik Mining Head of Supplier Quality.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has knowledge in drilling or similar activities. Experience in supplier quality management and material knowledge is essential while experience in leadership and engineering is an advantage. We also see that you have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
