Production Manager:

We are currently looking for a Production Manager for our production team in Houston, Texas.
Your responsibilities:

• Management, training and development of production team
• Responsibility for and supervision of the complete production process
• Management of continuous improvement process
• Review and resolution of operational, manufacturing, maintenance tasks and problems
• Technological development and improvement of production
• Fulfilment of quality and standards and requirements
• Observance of safety, health and environment regulations

Your profile:

• Technical university degree (Mechanical or Metallurgy)
• 4 - 5 years operational experience in a similar position preferably in the tubes and pipes or steel industry
• Distinct target- and results-orientation
• Strong leadership qualities
• Social skills and high ability to motivate staff
• Excellent communication and team skills in an international environment
• Significant independent working methods and own-initiative on a high level
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Business and legal knowledge (Labour, Environmental, Health & Safety)
• Additional foreign language advantageous

The position reports directly to the President of Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Tubes USA.
