2.0  Essential Functions:
Research and Development

1.         Assist with the release to production process for new products, as directed by the Engineering Mgr.
2.         Responsible for meeting the documentation criteria for product released to production.
3.         Coordinate outside resources/departments regarding information and problems in prototype construction.
4.         Work directly with the design engineers developing a design for manufacturing process (DFM).
5.         Responsible for troubleshooting and failure analysis for new circuit PCBA’s as required.
6.         Develop the PCBA and the final test procedures for new products.
7.         Coordinate the release of the new test procedures and coordinate with Design Engineering.
8.         Submit engineering change requests to improve the electrical test process on an as required basis.
9.         Reduce process related costs by 5% per annually.

11.        Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date related to the electrical manufacturing and test process. 
12.        Assists engineering staff in the evaluation and correction of manufacturing issues for released product.
13.        Evaluates components for product application and make recommendation if components are noncompliant.
14.        Provide engineering specific documentation support to all departments.

JOB PURPOSE: 
The Field Engineer I will be responsible for being the first point of contact for Sanjel customers and field personnel on job site and will provide technical support on location to ensure proper job execution.  A Field Engineer I will apply knowledge and skills obtained during training and will work with one specific service line.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews job program proposal from Technical Specialist to understand treatment specifications and prepare for job.
  • May assist Technical Specialists in writing job designs/proposals as needed.
  • Work closely with Operations in pre-job planning; confers with Technical Specialists, Operations, and Service Line Coordinators to develop and implement job operating procedures; ensure all materials and equipment needed to perform job will be on site.
  • Assist Service Line Coordinator in determining calculations for chemical additives and concentrations for treatments.
  • Present job design proposals, specifications, and procedures to customer on job site.
  • Foster and maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services by being a point of contact for questions regarding product, equipment and procedures.
  • Conduct pre and post job analyses (i.e. pre-job chemical, mud and water testing, breaker tests, tank strapping; post-job information review- pressure response charts, etc).
  • Assist field operations with rig-in/outs as needed.
  • Provide onsite technical support for customers and Sanjel field operations team; support supervisors on location throughout all phases of job with (help with volumes, flushes, pad extensions, lengthening stages, chemical loadings, etc).
  • Conduct quality control tests during job (i.e. fluid testing) to ensure proper delivery of service; make changes/corrections as required; utilize and apply sound engineering principles on the job.
  • Investigate and evaluate any job difficulties and/or failures to diagnose faulty operations.
  • Partner with Engineering Manager or District Engineer to recommend opportunities for improvement, and provide feedback to Technical Specialists on customer problems and needs.
  • Prepare post-job reports / summaries for Technical Specialists.
  • Verify job tickets before Field Operations submits them to the customer.
  • Follow up with customer after service to ensure all aspects of the job were completed to expectations.
  • All other duties assigned.

  • 4 year degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering field
  • 1 year field engineering experience and/or completion of Sanjel Field Engineer Training program
  • Strong communication skills- verbal and written
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, judgment and decision making skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work a 11 days on, 3 days off schedule and availability to be on-call 24/7; travel up to 100% of the time required.

DUTIES:

The purpose of this position is to function as a technical expert and project leader of complex network communications projects.
As an IT Specialist (Network), you will be responsible for the following:

Major function of your position: Project management and engineering responsibilities for assigned bioprocess system projects, including scope definition, vendor management, development of P&ID’s and Major component lists and budget and delivery schedule maintenance. Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college in an engineering discipline. Chemical, Bioprocess or Mechanical preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years project management/engineering experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with upstream and downstream bioprocessing equipment and processes, i.e. cell culture, fermentation and filtration systems.
- Experience specifying instrumentation and process control components in a biopharmaceutical environment, i.e. sensors, valves, pumps, etc.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards (cGMP, ASME-BPE, etc.)
Other Skills
- Ability to work proficiently with MS Office products, Microsoft Project, Visio etc.

Job Summary


The Service Desk Engineer’s (SDE) objective is to provide support for the end-users of SDS applications and the server systems needed to run those applications. The SDE will evaluate the request and return issue resolution back to the requestor in a timely manner (sometimes driven by pre-defined SLA’s) and with the highest level of quality possible. The SDE will also execute project work assigned by Global Service Desk Manager, IT Manager, and/or Director of Infrastructure. The Service Desk Engineer will be evaluated primarily on how quickly they respond to end-user/IT support requests and will strive for an error-free service record


Job Responsibilities
•Incident Management – Technical Support (Primary Function)



•Provide inbound/outbound phone and email Technical Support to
users of SDS web based




•Systems/Software, partners and internal staff




•Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve client support requests
in a timely fashion or according to pre-defined SLA’s.




•Log client calls and issues into the Service Desk system in
order to manage client information




•Manage the life cycle of all assigned trouble tickets per
management communicated processes, procedures and workflows,
including the proper escalation in and out of the SDS Service Desk
team.




•Manage client support issues and escalate as required (includes
assigning, routing issue information, status tracking, resolution
communication)




•Maintain open and frequent communications with Client
Relationship Manager with regards to client activity




•Ensures that assigned trouble tickets are updated regularly
with clear and concise notes that indicate actions needed to complete
request




•Provide reports of incident management activity upon request
for both internal staff and external users.




•Will be required to receive and respond to client issues in a
timely manner to adhere to client contractual SLAs




•Provide SDS internal staff with technical/desktop support if
needed in addition to the technical/desktop support provided by
Corporate IT/Service Desk.




•Event Management – Technical Support (Primary Function)




•Use available tools to monitor system performance, security and
quality and respond immediately (depending on shift and escalation
path) to alerts when performance, security or quality monitors fail
or exceed alert thresholds




•Gather and compile detailed issue information and propose
solutions




•Will be required to skillfully and quickly resolve, escalate
and/or conduct root-cause analysis activities and follow established
SOP for Non-Conforming Product, the SOP for Unplanned Downtime, or
other SOP, work instruction or process as directed.




•Review all information available to maintain a high level of
performance, security and quality, including logs,reports, external
monitoring tools, and direct interaction with the application
interface and/or manual queries of the data




•Perform client site maintenance activities




•Will be required to receive and respond to system alerts in a
timely manner to ensure adherence with uptime requirements and
performance SLAs




•Ensure client systems are performing at optimal levels (within
established SLAs) to ensure uninterrupted business functions with the
highest level of performance, security and quality possible




•Request Management - Implementation, Upgrade and Project
Support: (Secondary Function)




•Provide IT security, software, configuration and hardware
change request services upon request, mostly from other internal SDS
departmental staff.




•Will be required to finish RFC and project work in a timely
manner according to SDS strategies and goals




•Follows the change control process and documents all changes
and procedures correctly




•Strict adherence to the documentation standards for change
control, proving a very high level of detail and accuracy in all
change control documents.




•Strict adherence to the approval mechanism required before
changes can commence




•Implements changes as needed, directed or via Change Control
without error or causing other issues




•Will be required to write and execute detailed FDA validation
style documentation for installations and




•upgrades of software




•Support upgrade planning and execution activities (i.e., client
contact/notification, IT requests, change




•control/configuration requirements, testing)




•Perform implementation and upgrade application, integration and
user acceptance testing




•Document test results as a quality record and report all
failures for appropriate resolution




•Provide IT desktop procurement requests for SDS internal
staff.




•Internal Project Support - Implementation, Upgrade and Project

•Provide work as requested for internal projects for SDS IT,
problem management, Client/Implementation




•Services, QC and Development.




•Provide support for the build process of new sites using the
Load Application




•Occasional element/file population duties




•Contributes to Product and Customization Testing




•Complete special projects as assigned




•Support implementation services, client services and user
acceptance testing for new SDS client
